The Apex Extractor is an improved high quality component, machined from an aerospace grade stainless steel billet, and redesigned for greater strength and consistent extraction over time. In addition to the Glock safe Apex extractor, each kit also includes an Apex extractor spring. Using these replacement parts will keep your gun running reliably with less pull failure than those using the factory extractor and spring set.
The Apex Heavy Duty Extractor is designed and tested for use with Gen 3 and Gen 4 9mm Glock pistols. 9mm Glock Models 17, 18, 19, 34 Gen 3 and Gen 5 will use the Gen 3 version. Gen 4 9mm Locks require the Gen 4 version. The Glock 26 is not covered by any of these inserts. These tools are designed for use with Glock factory ejectors and spring bearings. This kit is designed for use with factory Glock bolts and barrels and may not work well with stock parts due to differences in manufacturing tolerances.
